Despite the dearth of material components, I have managed to cast some elementary wards upon our stronghold. Presently I am preparing some basic combat potions to boost energy, fortitude, and power levels for those who would have them.
Furthermore, the next person I see trying to use an arcane tome as a bludgeoning weapon will consider death by ninja a merciful reprieve.

It is no secret that I am a public critic of the Obelisks; it is my belief that a constant safety net cultivates a consequence-free environment, and thus depletes your collective survival instincts. It is by this measure that I would remind you all that simply in being at this school you are in mortal peril; not merely due to recent events, but simply from the nature of the volatile personalities and power sets that populate our campus. Do not think this is merely a normal day.
This is the day you could die.
Tread cautiously.

Let Manimal's unfortunate demise serve as a reminder: you are not here as part of some game. Those of you who go on to serve in Axiom will face your share of life or death situations. The next time you feel we are demanding too much, remember that we are doing so with the intent of keeping you from early graves. Keep this in mind next time you are faced with the choice of reveling or training.

Frivolities such as this 'performance' are exact reasons why students here are prone to forgetting the seriousness of their situation. Choosing to prance about on stage instead of training for the impending battle is an overt expression of the soundness of one's personal judgement.

I hope that your experiences during the recent weeks have opened your eyes to some of the harsh realities that your upcoming experiences at Camulus will be presenting. I do not wish to hear any whining about having been presented with danger and discomfort, for they are but a shade of what you should be prepared for. What does not kill you shall make you stronger, and what does kill you will be that for which you were unprepared.
By this measure, I would strongly suggest many of you throw yourselves upon the mercy of Professor Fullerton-Fitzwarren and implore her for enrollment in her upcoming seminar.
